The presidential Candidate of the

National Peoples Force (Jathika Jana Balawegaya )Anura Kumara Dissanayake has today (26)launched his policy statement for the forthcoming Presidential Election titled "The way to build the country with Anura ",At Sri Lanka Foundation Institute-in

Colombo -07.

Few of the Major propoosals in the policy statement of Anura Kumara Dissanayake includes cutting down the Rs.20 million daily  expenditure of the Executive presidency  by 90 percent ,Abolishing of the Pension scheme of Parliamentariens who had completed fice years and recover the stolen public money from the Politicians to provide concessions for the  public .

Under his government public funds will not be utilized to grant privilages to former presidents and their wives Anura Kumara has stated

Seven Farmers Injured Due To A Wasp Attack

Seven farmers had been injured and

hospitalized due to a wasp attack whilst ploughing in a paddy field at Sudanthipuram in Pudukudiirippu ,Mulathivu today (26).

The injured farmers had been admitted to the Pudukudiirippu Hospital for treatment .

The incident occurred when the tractor used to plough the paddy field had  collided with a  wasp nest in the field .

A Sudden Fire Erupted In A Copra Manufacturing Company

A Sudden fire erupted at a  copra manufacturing company at Aswan

Junction in Manammana ,Minuwangoda area today (26)had doused by the fire trucks belonging  to Gampaha Urban council and Airforce in the evening

Around 50 workers there in the factory at the time of the fire which caused due to the high temperatures occur as a result of drying Copra it has been revealed .

No.one was injured due to the incident it according to the Police . .

Minuwangoda Police have stated that the fire erupted as a result of high temperatures occurred during drying process of the coconuts .

Seven Persons Injured Due To A Wasp Attack

Seven workers  including six females

attached to a Mango Cultivation land at Wandama in Buttala ,Momaragala District had been injured and hospitalized due to a wasp attack today (25).

The injured had been admitted to the Wellawaya Base Hospital .The incident occurred whilst workers are working in the land .
