Eleven Fishermen Arrested Over Fishing Using Explosives

Eastern Naval Command of Sri Lanka Navy have arrested 11 local

fishermen who had attempted to transport 1354 Kilo Grammes of Fish caught using Dynamite  at Sudikuda area in Trincomalee today (12).

The suspects had been identified as 27-36 year  old residents of Muttur area .They along with the stock of fish ,Two  boats  used to catch the fish and the Cab had been handed over to Fisheries office in Mutthur .

Twitter has temporarily suspended the

official Twitter account belonging to MP Namal Rajapakshe's (Son of former president Mahinda Rajapakshe )Media Unit over violating the rules of Twitter social media group it has been announced .

According to the MP Rajapakshe's Media Unit members they are working hard to activate the account again .

An Australian National Committed Sucide By Jumping From A 33rd Floor of A Leading Hotel

A 52 year old Australian National had

committed suicide yesterday (10)by jumping from the 33rd floor of a Leading Hotel in Union Place ,Slave Island .

The deceased had stayed in the Hotel with a friend and committed suicide when his friend was absent it has been revealed .

The friend of the deceased has told the Slave Island police during the questioning that the deceased had worries over a certain incident .

The cause behind the suicide has not yet been revealed .
