UNP MP Shantha Abeysekara Had Been Remanded Over Violating Bail.Conditions

A parliamentarian attached to

governing United National Party (UNP)Abeysekare Shsntha Sisira Kumara had been remanded until 17th of October by the Chilaw High Court yesterday (10) over violating bail conditions of a case filed against him .

The UNP MP.was remanded over violation of a case filed against him at the Chilaw High court over possesing a firearm at an illegal meeting held in chilaw in 2004 .He was remanded over posssesing a firearm at the meeting and bailout on 31st of March 2011.

Lanka Indian Oil Company Reduced The Prices Of Two Varities Of Petrol

Although Government has decided to

keep fuel prices stable without price increase Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC) had decreased the prices of Octane -92 and Euro Three petrol by Rs.2 each with effect from midnight tonight (10)according to LIOC .

However there will be no.price revision for other fuel varities LIOC has announced .

Ministry portfolio will be given to Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka ,Presidential Candidate of the United National Party lead New Democratic Front Minister Sajith Premadasa has revealed during innauguration of his election campaign held at Galle Face green in Colombo this evening (10).

The responsibility of the National Security to ensure the National Security of the country should be given to Former Army Commander Fieldmarshal Fonseka who came through the shoulders of our war heroes ,Minister Premadasa has stated .

The responsibility of combatting Drug menace will be also given to Fieldmarshal Fonseka he has stressed .

Addressing the Election Rally Fieldmarshal Sarath Fonseka has told if given the Defense Mimistry Portfolio to him he will work to build a country with law and order .
