Parliament Restricted To 45 Minutes Today (06)
Parliamentary Sessions had today (06) restricted to 45 minutes as Government had withdrawn their proposals due to a limited number of their MP's present during today's sessions
Only four MP''s were there in the Government side during today's sessions and as the opposition demanded a vote for every proposal government had submitted ,Government had taken steps to withdraw the proposals .
Speaker had later adjourned the Parliamentary sessions .

Finance Minister Had Sent A List Of 1800 School Leavers To Recruit To The Peoples Bank As Trainees
Minister Of Finance Managla Samaraweera had send a list of 1800 Advanced Level school leavers to recruit to the Peoples Bank as Staff assistants last May it has been revealed during the COPE (Committee On Public Enterprises )meeting held today (06) at the Parliamentary Complex.
As the Director Board of the Peoples Bank opposed to recruit 1800 school leavers to the Bank the number had been later reduced to 80 and they were recruited to the Bank as Staff Assistants for a six month period as trainees it has been stated during the meeting .
COPE Chairman MP Sunil Handunneththi has said that Peoples Bank should be prepared a suitable mechanism to recruit temporary trainees to the Bank by calling applications from suitable candidates rather then recruit someone under the influence of a Minister .It's unfair that a group had been recruited as Trainees to the Bank accordance to the Minister's list he has stressed .

A Powerful Bomb Believes To Be Dropped Targeting Terrorist Spot Recovered In A Mulathivu Forest Area
Mulliyaweli Police have today (06) recovered 250 Kilo Gramme powerful Bomb at a forest area near the Army's second Engineering Regiment Camp in Kepapilaw ,Mulathivu area .
Police have suspected that the Bomb might be dropped by a Mig Aircraft belonging to Sri Lanka Air force targeting terrorist spots during the war period .
The three and half feet long Bomb had been recovered accordance to the information provided by the residents of the area .
Mulliyaweli Police have informed the Multhivu Magistrate Court on the Bomb and the Bomb Disposal Squad of the Sri Lanka Air force is scheduled to be defused the Bomb soon it has been revealed .
