Sri Lanka Freedom.Party To Name A Candidate For The Presidential Election
Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP)had
yesterday (05)informed the Chsirman of the National Election Commission Mahinda Deshapriya that the Party will name a candidate for the forthcoming Presidential Election
SLFP Secretary Dayasiri Jayasekare had informed the Election Conmission Chairman on this according to the Media Spokesman of the party MP Weerakumara Dissanayake.Central Committe of the SLFP had unanimously decided to name a separate candidate for the election he has stressed .
SLFP headed by President Maithripala Sirisena held talks with Sri Lanka Podu jana Peramuna headed by Former President Mahinda Rajapakshe recently over supporting the candidate named by the Podu Jana Peramuna for the Presidential Elections.
Meanwhile Chairman of National Election Commission Mahinda Deshapriya had requested all registered Political parties to inform on the candidates they are going to name for the Presidential. Election in view of planning the election .

arrested yesterday (04) over Dumping a stock of Clinical waste belonging to the National Kidney Hospital in Maligawatte at Nagahahandiya in Dompe had been remanded ubtil 12 th of September by the pugoda Magistrate Court.
The two suspects had been produced before the court today by the Dompe Police ..
Dompe Police have arrested the sub contractor who had received the contract to withdraw the clinical waste of Natonall Kidney Hospital .
Both suspects had been Arrested yesterday by the police. The Sub contactor had followed the Lorry with his Motorcycle it has been revealed.

Immigration And Emigration Officials Have Arrested 44 Indian Nationals
Immigration And Emigration Department Officials have today (05) arrested 44 Indian Nationals who had arrived in Sri Lanka with Tourist Visas and worked at a Construction Site in Colpetty .
The group of Indian Nationals of the ages 25-50 had arrived in Sri Lanka few years back and stayed in the country illegally it has been revealed .
Immigration and Emigration Department officials are due to send the suspects to the Mirihana Detention center after recording statements from them.

Twenty Four Estate Workers Had Injured Due To A Wasp Attack -Four Of The Injured Are In Critical Condition
Twenty Four Estate Workers including twenty one Females and Three Males attached to Tea Estate in Dimbula ,Dimbulapathana Police Division had been injured due to a Wasp attack and admitted to the Lindula Government Provincial Hospital this evening (05)
The condition of the four of the injured persons is critical it has been reported.Three Workers had left the hospital after receiving OPD Treatment and Twenty one are being currently treated at the Hospital .
