Little Daughter Of The Chief Easter Sunday Bomber Zahran Handed Over To The Child's Grandparents

court order සඳහා පින්තුර ප්‍රතිඵලColombo Fort Magistrate Ranga Dissanayke has today (03) ordered to hand over the custody of  four year old daughter of the Chief Bomber of Easter Sunday Attacks Mohomad Zahran Hashim who is under the custody of Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to the parents of the Child's Mother .

Magistrate had issued this order accordance to the request made by CID to hand over the custody of the Zahran's little daughter to a suitable party .However Magistrate Dosaanayake has ordered the Child Probation Authorities to supervise the child it has been reported.

Both Zahran's little daughter and his wife were rescued by the Sri Lanka Army officers during the raid carried out at a safe house in Kaththankudy few days after the Easter Sunday attacks .

A 33 Year Old Female Swimming Instructor Had Drowned Whilst Training Small Children In Swimming

A 33 year old female SwImming
instructor had drowned in a Swimming pool at Katugasthota in Kandy last Sunday (01)whilst training 14 small children in swimming it has been reported .

Whilst giving training in the Swimming pool she had drowned and other instructors rescued her and admitted to the Kandy Teaching Hospital where she was pronounced dead .


Navy Recovered 550 Kilo Grammes Of Beedi Leaves During Last Two Days At Iranathivu Island

Northern Naval Command officers
have recovered 550 Kilo Grammes of Beedi leaves off the shore at Iranathivu Island during a search operation carried out there in last two days (Sunday and Monday ).

The stock of Beedi leaves stored in Eight parcels and two of them had been recovered on  Sunday and Eight yesterday  (02).

The parcels had been handed over to the Customs office in  Jaffna for further investigations.
