A MotorcyclIst Has Died After Colliding With A Tipper
A 44 year old Motorcyclist has died
after colliding with a Tipper Truck which crashed in to a lamp post after veering off the road at Banduragoda in Divulapitiya -Meerigama road in wee hours of this morning (17).
The critically injured Motorcyclist who was admitted to Divulapitiya District Hospital had succumbed to his injuries after admission to the Hospital it has been revealed.
The driver of the Tipper had also admitted to the hospital due to the injuries he had received as a result of the accident.
As the Tipper had crashed into an Electricity post several areas including Banduragoda had been experienced long power cuts it has been reported .

Sri Lankan Police Cricket Team had
won the Sixth Police World Cup Cricket trophy by beating the Western Australian Police Cricket Team at the finals held in Princeton, England today (17).
This is the first time that an Asian Police Cricket Team won the Police World Cup Cricket trophy according to the Police Media Spokesman Superintendent of Police (SP)Ruwan Funasekare.
Nine Countries had participated the Tornament
