Transport Activities Had Been Disrupted in Sripadha Nallathanniya Road Due To A Soil Mound Collapse
Transport activities of Sripadha Nallathanniya road at Maskeliya had been disrupted for two hours from 12 noon to 2 p.m today (12)due to a collapsing of a soil mound in to the road .However the Road Development Authority officers who are being engaged in renovation work in the road had removed the soil mound from the road and restricted transport activities to one lane .The soil mound collapsed due to the heavy showers prevailing in the area .
Nallathanniya Police have requested the motorists to be vigilant when travelling in the area .
