CID Had Suspended The Assets And Cash Owned By Easter Sunday Bomb Attacks Worth Rs.1130 Million
Criminal Investigations Department (CID) had taken steps to suspend the Rs.1130 million worth assets and cash owned by the Bombers attached to National Thowheed Jamaath which carried out the Easter Sunday Attacks including it's leader Mohommad Zahran Hasim according to CID.
CID had suspended the assets and cash owned by Easter Sunday Bombers after receiving a Court Order regarding that CID Director SP Shani Abeysekare .Among the Assets that have been suspended were Rs.130 million worth cash and Bank accounts as well as Rs.1000 million worth assets including vehicles ,Land ,Gold Jewelry and Factories he has stressed .

Bail Conditions Against Central Bank Bond Scam Suspect Arjun Mahendren Had Eased
Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne had yesterday (08)ordered to ease the bail conditions applied against the owner of the Perpetual Treasuries Arjun Aloysius who was remanded over Central Bank Bond Scam issue and later released on bail .
Therefore the order made against Aloysius to appear before Criminal Investigations Department (CID ) on every Sunday between 9 a.m to 12 noon has been eased as to appear before CID on last Sunday of Every month Magistrate has ordered .
The Bail conditions were eased after considering facts including that Attorney General's Department had not opposed against easing bail conditions against Perpetual Treasuries director, His behavior outside the court proved as better after granting bail and the Special Tribunal High Court had not applied any special bail condition against him it has been reveled.
Therefore the order made against Aloysius to appear before Criminal Investigations Department (CID ) on every Sunday between 9 a.m to 12 noon has been eased as to appear before CID on last Sunday of Every month Magistrate has ordered .

International Police Have Rejected An Appeal Made By Former Central Bank Governor Against CID
International Police have rejected an Appeal submitted by formerCentral Bank Governor Arjun Mahendran who is now based in Singapore ,Saying the Red notice issued against him by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID ) by providing false facts was illegal and baseless according to the CID Director Senior Superintendent of Police Shani Abeysekare.
In his Appeal Former Central Bank Governor admitted He had done nothing wrong and requested to declare the red notice issued against him as illegal CID Director has told during a press briefing held in Colombo recently.
After conducting an inquiry regarding the documents provided by former Central Bank Governor Mahendran International Police have declared the Red notice against him was issued correctly and rejected his appeal .
Around 27 Houses Had Been Damaged Due To The Strong Winds And Showers In Six Districts Last Night (07)
Around 27 houses had been damaged due to a heavy showers and strong winds occurred in six Districts of the Island last night according to Disaster Management Center.
These houses are being located at Rathnapura ,Vavuniya,Puttalam,Kegalle ,Hmabanthota and Nuwara Eliya Districts and around 298 Families are being affected due to this situation the Center has announced.
As a result of the strong winds and heavy showers prevailed in last night trees had fallen across the roads in Colombo ,Gampaha ,Thrincomalee,Matale,Polonnaruwa and Kandy Districts and blocked them it has been reported.
Due to the falling of trees across the Kelani Valeey Railway line last night as a result of the strong winds prevailed in,There's a Train delay occurred for few hours this morning (08). some areas have experienced power cuts as a result of the damaging power lines .
