Three Persons Were Killed And Two Others Injured Due To Van -Bus Collision
Three Persons including two females had killed and two others injured and hospitalized after the Van they were travelling in colliding with a Private Bus at Kalalpitiya area on Kandy-Colombo main road today (07) it has been reported .
The five injured persons three of them critically had been admitted to Wathupitiwala Hospital and the three critically injured persons had succumbed to their injuries before admission to the hospital .A female and Male are being received treatment at the hospital .
The deceased were residents of Trincomalee District of the ages 22.47 and 52 years it has been raveled.At the time of the incident the Van was travelling towards Colombo and the Bus was travelling tow Kandy .
Nittambuwa Police have arrested the Private Bus driver over the incident and he is due to be produced before the Attanaglla Magistrtae Court tomorrow (08).

Ialand Wide Health Strike Scheduled For Tomorrow (08)Has Been Postponed
The island wide one day token strike
scheduled to be launched by Health Professions Joint Confederation comprising of Government Nurses ,Professions Supplementary To Medicine (PSM ) and Paramedical officers tomorrow (08)had been temporarily suspended following the talks held with Health Minister Dr.Rajitha Senaratne this evening (07) at Health MinistRy According to the Co-Convener of the Federation Saman Ratnapriya.
During the talks Health Minister has promised the Trade Union representatives to solve their service demands and as a result the proposed strike action had been postponed Ratnapriya has stressed .
Sixteen Health Services have decided to launch a strike action tomorrow demanding solutions for 09 of their Service Demands .

Director General Of Health Services Requested Doctors And Public To Refrain From Using Seven Steroid And Non Steroid Drugs For Fever Patients
Director General Of Health Services Dr.Anil Jasinghe has today (07) requested all Doctors and public to refrain from using seven medicinal drugs including "Asprin " prescribed for Fever patients including Dengue as it proves these Drugs caused the condition of fever patients worst .
Accordingly Dr.Jasinghe has requested the Doctors and Public not to provide four Non Steroid -Anti Inflammatory Drugs "Aspirin",Ibuprofen","diclofenac Sodium " ,Mefanamic Acid "and three Steroid Drugs "Prednisolone ","Methayl-Prednisolone "and "Dexamethasone"for fever patients as condition of several fever patients Island Wide reported as being critical after using them
If the patient is suffering from Dengue using these Drugs for such patients would make the condition deadly Director General Of Health Services have stated .
Due To the South Western Monsoon showers Dengue Patients in Colombo ,Gampaha,Kaluthara ,Rathnapura,Galle and Matara Districts are on the rise according to the Health Ministry .
