Three Persons Had Been Arrested Whilst Transporting 18,725 Kilos Of Waste Tea
Special Police Task Force(STF) personal have today (04) arrested three persons along with 18,725 Kilo Grammes of Waste Tea whilst transporting them illegally in 03 Lorries at Mawanella area .
The suspects are residents of "Hathdessa "Velambada and leemagahakotuwa areas of the ages 36.38 and 46 years. .They are scheduled to be produced before the court
The stock of Waste Tea was transported to Paliyagoda area in.vuew of exporting them it has been revealed .

A 65 Year Old Person Died After Colliding With A Train At Thalawakale
A 65 year old person has died after colliding with a Train traveling from Badulla to Colombo at Railway Grounds near the Thalwakale Train Station this morning (04) according to t he Police .
The deceased who was a resident of Holiday Rud Tea Estate at Thalawakale was sick and on the way his house by walking on the Rail track at the time of the incident it has been revealed .
Thalawakale Police are investigating on the incident .

Anuradhapura District Leader Of Banned Extensor Organization Had Been Arrested
Police officers attached to Ampara Police have today (04)arrested the
Anuradhapura District leader of Banned Jamaathei Millathe Ibrahim Organization who had received arms training in Nuwara Eliya with Chief bomber of Easter Sunday attacks Mohommad Zahran .
The suspect Mohommad Ismail Mohommad Salman is a resident of Sampathgama in Kahatagasdigiliya,Anuradhapura waa arrested accordance to an information provided by State Intelligence Unit Ampara Police have said .
Meanwhile Another two members of Banned Jamaathei Millathe Ibrahim Organization had been arrested by the Ampara Police yesterday (03) and they are currently being questioned under detention in Ampara Police.

Six Died -Fifty Two Injured Due To A Bus Collision At Waskaduwa
Six (06)persons including three(03)
males and three(03) females have died and fifty two (52) persons have been injured few of them critically and admitted to Kalutara -Nagoda and Panadura Base Hospitals this morning (04)due to a head on collision between Private Bus and Ceylon Transport Board(CTB) Bus at NagahahanDiya in Waskaduwa ,Kalutara .
Few of the critically injured persons had been Transferred to Colombo National Hospital for further treatment.
Among those injured there are 43 males 08 Females and a child it has been reported .
The incident occurred when a Private Bus travelling from Mulathivu to Tangalle collided with a CTB Bus travelling from Elpitiya to Colombo.
According to the Police .
The CTB Bus driver was responsible for the incident Police have stated .
Soon after the incident Kalutara North Police had closed down the Galle Road for more than two hours and advised motorists to use an alternative routes .
