A 38 Year Old Person Was Shot And Killed At Kohuwala
A 38 year old person was killed and
another person had been critically injured and hospitalized after they were shot at by two unidentified gunmen arrived in a Motorcycle , whilst travelling in a Laxurious Land Cruiser jeep at Jambugasmulla Road ,Kohuwala ,Nugegoda in wee hours of this morning (28).
The two critically injured persons had been admitted to Kalubowila Teaching Hospital where one of them had succumbed to his injuries after admission .

The other critically injured person who is a 40 year old Businessman had transferred to Colombo National Hospital for further treatment.
The deceased was a resident of Madi wela road ,Udahamulla ,Nugegoda .
The cause behind the incident has not yet been revealed and Kohuwala Police are investigating in to arrest the suspects.
Meanwhile the Police Media Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekare has announced that three special Police Teams have appointed to investigate on the Kohuwala incident.

Former Minister Mervyn De Silva who
had visited to see the destruction of Historical monuments at the Historical Vijithapura Fortress at Kala Wewa ,Kekirawa yesterday(27)got angry and told he will tying the person who has done the crime to a tree if he was there Infront of him .
Someone had destroyed the Historical monuments at Vijithapura Fortress by using backo machines and cultivated coconut and Mangoes there it has been revealed.
The angry former Minister De Silva who was famous for tied a Grama Seva officer to a tree few years back over delaying a work when he was the Minister, has stressed that Both Government and opposition have done nothing to prevent this archeological destruction.Chief Prelates of Malwatte and Asgiriya chapters should pay attention towards this he has stressed.
