Navy Personal Have Arrested Four Indian Fishermen Whilst Illegally Fishing In Sri Lankan Waters

Naval Command had arrested four Indian Fishermen along with their trawler boat whilst illegally fishing in Sri Lankan sea area near kovilam light house this morning (24).
The group of fishermen along with their trawler boat had taken ashore by the High speed boat of Navy and they are due to be handed over to the Assistant Fisheries director in Jaffna for legal activities it has been reported.

Government Incurred Rs.50 Billion Loss To Its Economy Due To The Easter Sunday Attacks
Government has incurred Rs. 50 billion loss to its economy in short term due to the Easter Sunday attacks according to the mid year state economy report presented to the Parliament by Minister of Finance Mangala Samaraweera yesterday (23).
Accordingly Finance ,Tourism ,Trade and Construction sectors in the country have suffered most due to the Easter attacks and Government expenditure has been increased as a result of spending for providing relief assistance to the victims of the attacks, spending to renovate religious places and infrastructure facilties damaged due to the attacks and providing loan facilties for victimised families it has been revealed.
On the other hand srate income has been decreased and affectEd the targetted income sources provided through the budget proposals as well Minister has stressed.
In long term it is being expected to increase the expenditure more in future as a result of the Easter attacks it has been announced.
