Around 16,000 Unemployed Graduates To Receive Government Jobs This Month -Minister Kabir Hasheem

Around 16,000 unemployed graduates
scheduled to be recruited for government jobs at the end of this Month according to Minister Kabir Hasheem .These graduates are due to be provided with appointment letters for their jobs this month Minister hasherm has stressed during a meeting held at Hatton town today  (21).

Government has also planned to provide employment opportunities for unemployed youth within next three month period he has further said. 

A Soil Mound Collapse At Mahagiridamba Area Of Sripadha Caused Damages

A Soil Mound of around 15 meter area attached to Mahagiridamba area near Udamaluwa at Hatton nallathanniya -Sripadha road   had  collapsed due to a Landslide occurred on last friday night (19) caused heavy damage it has been reported.

The incident occurred during heavy showers prevailed in Western slope areas of Central hills and as a result electricity lines and water pumps located in the area had been damaged as well as the steps of the Sripadha according to reports.

Navy soldiers are currently repairing the damaged steps of the Sripadha it has been reported .However no casualties had been reported due to the soil Mound collapse.

Seven Persons Had Been Injured Due To Lorry -Three Wheeler Collison

Seven persons had been injured and hospitalized after a Lorry without Breaks colliding with 07
Three Wheelers  at Central Road in Gas street Colombo today (20) according to Police Media Spokesman  SP Ruwan Gunasekare .

The incident occurred when the Lorry driver not able to control the vehicle due to the non functioning of the Break system he has stressed .
