Sri Lanka Navy Have Arrested 06 IndIan Fishermen Whilst Illegally Fishing In Sri Lankan Territorial Waters
Sri Lanka Navy have arrested 06 Indian
Fishermen whilst illegally fishing in Sri Lankan territorial waters in the North yesterday (12).
The fishing boat these fishermen were in was also taken in to custody by the Navy .The arrested fishermen along with their boat are due to be handed over to the Fisheries Inspectors office in Jaffna for further investigations after subjecting the fishermen to a medical test.

Parliamentary Select Committee To Inquire On Higher Officials Stayed In Hotel Taj Samudra A Day And The Day Prior To Easter Sunday Attacks

probing Easter Sunday attacks has decided to inquire Authorities of Hotel Taj Samudra ,Colombo on higher officials who had stayed in the hotel the day and the day before Easter Sunday attacks it has been reported .
Committee has made this decision after Sri Lanka Freedom Party General Secretary Dayasiri Jayasekare has told whilst giving evidence before the committee few days ago that it was suspicious why one of the Suicide bombers had failed to explode his bomb at Hotel Taj Samudra on Easter Sunday.
He had requested the committee to probe on the high level officials stayed at the Hotel the day and the day prior to the Easter Sunday attacks. The committee is due to request the Taj Samudra authorities to provide names of these officials

Sri Lanka Navy Had Taken In To Custody 60 Kilos Of Narcotics Along With Nine Suspects In Southern Seas
Sri Lanka Navy had yesterday (12 )
raided a foreign vessel sailing without a foreign flag and or a symbol in the sea area near Galle harbour and taken in to custody around 60 Kilo Grammes of Narcotics believes to be Heroin along with nine foreign Nationals in the vessel it has been reported
The Foreign vessel alomg with narcotics and suspects had been taken ashore and the stock of narcotics due to be sent to a Laboratory to identify the variety of narcotics .
nine suspects arrested are due to hand over to Police Anti Narcotics Bureau for further investigations .according to Navy.
