A 22 Year Old Female Critically Injured Due To Easter Sunday Attacks Has Died Today (11)
A 22 year old female who had been
critically injured and hospitalized due time the Easter Sunday attacks in Zion Church at Batticaloa 80 days ago ,has succumbed to her injuries are Ragama Teaching Hospital today (11) it has been reported .
The deceased was Uma ShanKer resided in KilledI area .She had been critically injured due to the Easter Sunday attacks whilst in Zion Church and admitted to Batticaloa Hospital for treatment. Later she was transfered to Ragama Teaching Hospital for further treatment.

CID Had Cancelled Three Month Detention Order Against Dr.Safi -Kurunagala Magistrate Had Remanded The Dr.Until 25th
Kurunagala Magistrate has this
evening (11) ordered to Remand Dr.Mohommad Siyabdeen Seigu Safi attached to Kurunagala Teaching Hospital who has been charged over illegal sterilization and earning Valuable assets illegally ,until 25th of July although Criminal Investigations Department (CID)has clearly stated none of the charges against him proved as true during investigations.
Dr.Safi who was under detention of CID had been produced before the court this noon (11) from backdoor of the court due to the politically motivated protests carried out by a group of persons against him outside the court.it has been revealed .
As CID had informed the Court that none of the charges against DR.Safi proved so far, Doctor's lawyers have told that they too wants the Mothers who had complaint against Dr.Safi over illegal sterilization undergoing the SHG " test to see weather they were sterilised.
However the lawyers representing behalf of those females complained against Dr.Safi only demonstrated that the CID has not been able to investigate properly over the charge over earning assets illegally .But they didn't mention anything regarding the illegal sterilization charges.
Meanwhile CID had yesterday (10)cancelled the three month detention orders received against Dr. Safi as charges against him not proved ,The court was informed today .

No Confidence Motion Against Government Defeated
The no confidence motion presented
against the government by the leftist Janatha Wimukthi Peramuna (JVP) had defeated by 27 votes during the voting held at Parliament today (11).
119 MP's representing governing United National Party (UNP) and Tamil National Alliance (TNA) had voted against the no confidence motion whilst 92 MP's representing leftist JVP And United People's Freedom Alliance (UPFA)had voted for the motion .
Nine MP's including Duminda Dissanayake ,Wijedasa Rajapakshe ,S. B Navinna and Dunesh gankanda were absent during the voting .

Fourty five Estate Workers attached to
Two estates in Maskeliya Police Division had been injured and hospitalized last noon (10) after wasps attacking them whilst engaging in their duties .
The injured were admitted to Maskeliya Provincial Hospital where Thirty one of them had discharged after receiving OPD Treatment.
Around fourteen estate workers imcluding ten females and four males are being received treatment in wards it has been revealed. Their condition is not critical it has been announced .
