Around 09 line houses at Saint Clare '
state in Thalawakale had been completely gutted due to a sudden fire erupted there this evening (19)it has been reported.
No casualties had been reported due to the incident, however all personal belongings of the residents of those houses had been destroyed as a result according to reports.
The fire had started from one house and spreads towards other houses in the scheme which was doused by residents of the area along with Thalawakale Police before spreading it further .
Around 25 persons belonging to the 09 families displaced due to the incident had been provided with temporary shelter at a nearby school.
The cause of the fire has not yet been revealed.
