Eighty Nine Suspects Had Been Arrested Regarding Easter Sunday Attacks

89 suspects arrested so far regarding
the Easter Sunday Bomb attacks according to Police Media Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekare.

Addressing a Press briefing held at Defense Ministry in Colombo today (20) SP Gunasekare has stressed that out of these 89 suspects 69 are being held  under the custody of   Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and 20 of them are in the custody of Terrorism Investigations Division .

Search operations will continue a cording to the Police Media Spokesman.

Four Suspects Including Thowheeth Jamaath Leader Zahran 'S Close Aid Kalmunai Siam Arrested

State Intelligence Unit officials in
Ampara District have yesterday (19)arrested four suspects who are close aides of  the leader of the banned Thowheeth Jamaath Organization Mohommad Zahran Hashim including Zahran's Chief Organizer in Kalmunai area Kalmunai SIam at Kalmunai , Ampara .

Kalmunai Siam has been identified as  an active powerful member of Thowheeth Jamaath Organization according to officials.He was also responsible for transporting Zahran's family members including Niyaz and Rilwan from.their house in nindavur to Seindamaridu area through the sea rpute whether they have exploded themselves during the fight against security forces last month .

Kalmunai Siam has also participated training activities in Hambanthota as well it has been revealed .

These  arrests  were  made accordance to the information gathered by State Intelligence Unit officials of Ampara District it has been revealed

Officials have also recovered around 31 CD's belonging to extremists buried at palamune area .


State Minister Niroshan Perera Vows To Vote In Favour Of No Confidence Motion Against Minister Baduideen

State Minister of National Policies and
Economic Affairs Niroshan Perera of governing United National Party (UNP)Has today (20)announced that he will vote in favour of the No confidence Motion against Minister Rishad Baduideen which handed over to the Speaker as it proves that the Minister Baduideen had influenced the Army Commander regarding  a suspect in custody related to Easter Sunday bombings.

Addressing a Media conference held in Colombo today State Minister Perera has stressed that Minister Baduideen should be resigned from his Ministerial Portfolio before the motion is taken up for debate and if he fails to do so will vote in favour of the motion.

The first charge of the No confidence  motion handed over against Minister badduidedn which containing ten charges ,Is Minister Baduideen has influenced the Army Commander regarding a Easter Sunday bombings suspect .

Minister perera is the State Minister working under the Prime Minister  Ranil Wikramasinghe who holds the Ministerial. post of National Policies and Economic Affairs .

The no confidence Motion against Minister of Industries and Commerce Rishad Baduideen was signed by 64 MP's of Joint Opposition.
