A 41 Year Old Motorcyclist Had Been Killed -Four Injured Due To Motorcycle Collision
A 41 year old Motorcyclist had been
killed and four others including two persons travelling in a Motorcycle due to a Collision of Two motorcycles near the Alawwala bridge in.KaranDeniya area last night (18).
The injured had been admitted to Balapitiya Hospital. for treatment and one critically injured person had been Transferred to Karapitiya Teaching Hospital for further treatment .
The deceased was a resident of KaranDeniya area .The incident occurred when the Motorcyclist had attempted to overtake another vehicle.

Tense Situation Occured In Dumalsuriya area Due To A False Rumour On A Planned Aattack
A tense situation had occurred among residents in Dummalasuriya area at North Western Province today (19) due to a false rumor spreads around that a group of persons are trying to attack the area .
Army and Police personal have tightened the security in the area as a result .
This rumour has spreads after the Navy diver have recovered around 500 used empty cartridges utilize for T-56 weapons left under a karandawila bridge near dummalasuriya town according to reports. Steel collectors of the area believes to be brought these empty cartridges to the area some time back.
