Joint Opposition Began Signing A No Confidence Motion Against Mimister Rishad Baduideen

Joint Opposition Group has began to
sign a no confidence motion against Minister of Commerce and Industries Rishad Baduideen over supporting Muslim extremists ,today (14).

Around 26 MP's have signed the No  confidence motion so far it has been revealed .However a final decision is due to be taken regarding the motion during a meeting of Joint Opposition scheduled to be held tomorrow  (15)it has been revealed.

Joint Opposotion MP Dallas Alahapperuma has put  the  first signature to the no confidence motion  it has been reported .

Independent MP Athuraliye Rathana thero  had first proposed the signing of no confidence motion against Minister Baduideen .

Wellampitiya Police OIC Complaint To Judicial Services Commission That Hulftsdorf Court MagIstrate Responsible For Granting Bail To 09 Copper Factory Workers

Wellampitiya Police OIC Chief Inspector Gamini Hewawithana has made a complaint to Judicial Services Commission demanding a fair investigation in to allegations levelled against him over supporting 09 suspects attached to Copper Factory in Wellampitiya who were charged over supporting extremism to get bail from the court.

Police have nothing to do with the release of 09 suspects on bail and Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage of Court number 02 had ordered to release the suspects without considering written and verbal requests made by Wellampitiya Police opposing the granting of bail to the suspects Police OIC has stated in his complaint .

As a result Police Headquarters is currently being conducted an investigation against three Police officers attached to Wellampiriya Police OIC Have stated.


State Minister Ruwan Wijewardane Appointed As Acting Defense Minister By President

Cabinet Minister of Media Ruwan wijewardana has been appointed as the acting Defense Minister by President Maithripala Sirisena prior to his departure to China yesterday (13).

President Sirisena had left for China last morning to attend a conference in Beijing and due to return  on this Thursday (16).
