A Parcel Contains 16 Knives Had Been Recovered From Maradana
Maradana Police have recovered a
parcel contains 16 brand new banned Rambo type knives left near Colombo Municipal Bus deport at Arnold Ratnayake Road in Maradana today (08).
The knives parcel believes to be left by someone else due to the search operations carried out by security forces .
The stock of knives recovered by Police was newer than those used by Army commandos and Special Task Force it had been revealed.

Army Recovered More Than 700 Kilo Grammes Of Gun Powder From A House In Mawanella
Army personal have recovered more
than 700 Kilo Grammes of Gun powder from a shop at Hingula ,Mawanella (Central Province)area during a search operation carried out last night (07).
The owner of the Shop had been arrested over the incident as he had kept more than 700 Kilo Grammes of Gun powder although has a licence to keep only 200 Kilo Grammes of Gun powder in possession .
Army along with Mawanella Police are conducting an investigations over the incident.

Traders And Businessmen In Ambalanthota Had Staged a Harthal Today (08)against Pakistani Refugees
Traders and Businessmen have today
(08)closed their shops ,trade stalls and Private Banks at Ambalanthota (Southern Province )by hoisting black flags to stage a silent Harthal in Ambalanthota .
The Ambalanthota Traders Association has organized this Harthal as a protest against bringing a group of Pakistani Refuges who arrived in Sri Lanka to the State Rehabilitation center at Ruhuna-Rideegama area it has been revealed.
Traders in.the area believes bringing Pakistani refugees to the center will affect peace and harmony among communities in Ambalanthota.
