Three Foreign Nationals Without Visas And A Samanthurai Resident Arrested Whilst Staying Illegally
Police and Army personal have
arrested two Pakistani Nationals without visas and a Muslim Resident of Samanthurai area (Eastern Province) whilst illegally staying at a house in Mount Lavinia Hotel Road during a search operation carried out there today (02).
The three suspects are due to be produced before Mount Lavinia Magistrate Court tomorrow (03 ).
Meanwhile Police have arrested an Iranian National who had been staying in Matale area during last 10 years without visas .
He is due to be produced before the court.

Authorities Ordered Department Of Immigration. And Emigration To Expel The Arabic Teachers Staying In Sri Lanka Without Visas

Government Bodies had instructed the Department of Immigration and Emigration to expel all foreign Nationals who had arrived in Sri Lanka without work permit visas and involved in
teaching Islamic philosophy in Religious Schools it has been revealed. .
Prime Minister Ranil Wilramssimghe has earlier informed the authorities to expel around 600 Arab Nationals who are working in these special schools as they do not possess a work permit visas .
A large number of Arab Nationals are teaching extremism philosophies including "Wahab"ideology in these Religious Schools it has been revealed .
Meanwhile Prime Minister Ranil Wilramasinghe has shown the need to prepare a national policy on activities of these Arab teachers without visas after examining their behaviours during a meeting held with few government MP's . .

Two Muslim Nationals Had Been Arrested With 28 White Female Skirts In Posession
Motor Traffic unit of the Anuradhapura Police have arrested two
Muslim Nationals whilst transporting a stock of 28 White Female skirts from a Van travelling from Thihariya to Anuradhapura last evening (01) at Anuradhapura town. .
The two suspects who are 41 and 47 years old had stored the stock of white skirts inside a fertiliser bag of the vehicle.
Anuradhapura Police are conducting an ihnvestigations over the Incident.
