Intelligence Officials Have Recovered Female Cloth Kits Purchased For Attacking Religious Places

State Intelligence Unit officials had
recovered five out of the nine white color skirt and blouses kits purchased by banned Thowheath Jamaath  organization to carry out a major attack targeting religious  places in the island by using females at the safe house in kalmunai area  raided by Forces last friiday(26).

The skirt and blouses kits had been purchased from a cloth shop in giriulla area it has been reported.

Forces are currently searching on  to find about the remaining   skirt and blouse kits which are missing from the house .

  

No Curfew Today(28) Except Three Areas

The curfew which has been imposed
for few hours daily throughout the island  since last Sunday(21)following the Easter Sunday attacks ,has not imposed today (28)due to the peaceful atmosphere prevailing in .

However Curfew imposed in Samanthurai ,Kalmunai and chawalakade areas will be continued until further notice .

Colombo Leader Of The Thowheeth Jamaath" Had Been Arrested

The Colombo leader of the National
Thowheeth Jamaath Organization Mohommad Pawas (38)had been arrested by the Keselwatta Police along with Intelligence officials of Western Province at a housing scheme in Keselwatta yesterday(27).

Police have taken in to custody posters of Jamaath organization,Pendrives containing preaches of the Organization and Videos in possession of the suspect.

The raid was carriedout accordance to the information received from State Intelligence Unit .

Ten Persons Arrested With Cartridges ,Swords And Foreign Suits In Possession

Police have arrested 10 persons with a
suit similar to a foreign army suit 04 swords,08 burning religious books and 107  cartridges during a search operation carried out at houses in Yonakapura,Dikwella area(Southern Province) this morning(28).


Dilwella Police have carried out this search operation around 800 houses it has been revealed. 

Government Has Decided To Ban Wearing All Face Coverings With Effect From Tomorrow(29)

Government has banned All face
coverings  (Burka)which can  disrupt the confirmation of the identity of  Sri Lankan  public and threat to national security of the country  with effect from tomorrow(29)in view of current security situation of the country Presidential Media Division has announced.

All face coverings including "Burka' "worn  by some Muslim females will be banned according to the announcement."In Burkas A net has been used to cover upper part of the face whilst covering lower part of the face and full body  with black cloth .

Meanwhile All Ceylon jummayithul Ulama Organization has passed a resolution to ban the wearing of "Burka"it has been revealed.

In addition Islamic organization's have today (28)appealed females not to wear "Burka"s.

Self employed Three wheeler drivers Association has decided not to carry females wearing Burka's from tomorrow (29)considering the security situation in the country.
