Two Suspicious Motorcycles And A Parcels Left Unattended Had Been Exploded With Control In Three Areas

As Security forces have  put on alert island wide following the Easter Sunday bombings ,Two Motorcycles and a suspicious parcel that left unattended had been exploded with control by the security personal during the search operations  carried out .

Accordingly Special  Police Task Force Personal (STF) personal have recovered a Motorcycle left unattended by the owner at Wwellawatte Bridge near the Savoy Cinema this morning (240 and exploded it with control.Soon after finding  the Motorcycle , STF Personal have inspected it and tried to  open it but it failed according to reports.

In another instance Special Police Task Force Personal had recovered a suspicious parcel at a restaurant  in Thimbirigasskatuwa ,Katana area this morning and safely exploded it.After exploding it STF Personal had found several pieces of nails and wires inside the parcel it has been revealed.

STF is investigating on to find out whether there were any explosives in the parcel.

STf  Personal have exploded a suspicious Motorcycle that left unattended at Gas work street in Pettah,Colombo this morning under control.However no explosives had been found inside the Motorcycle .

172 Easter Sunday Bomb Blast Victims Still Receiving Treatment At Four Government Hospitals

As the death toll of Easter Sunday bombings had risen to 359 ,Around 172 persons who had been injured due to bombings still receiving treatment at four government hospitals according to Director General Of Health Services Dr.Anil Jasinghe .

Out of this number 105 are being treated at Colombo National Hospital ,38 at Batticaloa Base Hospital,24 at Negambo base and 07 at Ragama Teaching hospitals he has stressed.

By last evening there were 37 critically injured persons  receiving treatment at ICU"s of these four hospitals and at Kalubowila Teaching Hospital .

Police Curfew To Be Imposed From 10.P.M Tonight (24)

Police curfew will be imposed  from 10.p.m today (24) according to Department Of Police.It will  be lifted at 4 A.M tomorrow morning (25).
