Police officers attached to Dangerous

Narcotic Flying Squad in Anuradhapura Police have arrested 06 persons including a 38 year old female who are involving in Heroin Trade at a house near Anuradhapura-Jaffna junction today(12) with a haul of Heroin in their possession.

Police officers have taken in to custody around 07 Grammes of Heroin in the possession of the suspects.

The female who was arrested were arrested and remanded in an earlier occassion regarding involving in Heroin trade it has been revealed.

A Person Was Arrested With A Haul Of Heroin

Angulana Police have arrested a 27

year old person with 2.200 Grammes of Heroin in his possession at Sayurapura Housing Scheme in Angulana last evening(11).

The suspect who is a resident of Sayurapura Housing Scheme is scheduled to be produced before the Moratuwa Magistrate Court.

President Sirisena Has Recruited The Department Of Printing To Ministry Of Lands

President Maithripala Sirisena has

today(12)recruited the Department of Printing and Publishing attached to Ministry of Defense to the Ministry of Lands and Parliamentary Reforms through an extra ordinary Gazette Notification issued .

Earlier President Sirisena has taken the Department of Printing under the Ministry of Defence vested to him on 28issuof December last year (2018) from the Ministry of Media also through an extra otdinary Gazette notification.
