A Three Wheeler Driver Was Killed And Two Others Had Been Injured Due To Motor Car-Three Wheeler Collision
A Three Wheeler driver had been killed
and two others had been injured and hospitalized after the Three Wheeler they were travelling in colliding with a Motor Car driven by an Army Lance Corprol under the influence of liquor this morning (07) at Kalalgoda area on Kottawa-Borella main road .
The two injured passangers travelling in the Three Wheeler had been admitted to Colombo National Hospital for treatment .
Thalangama Police have arrested the Lance Corprol over the incident .
The Motor Car was hit on a Lamp post nearby after colliding with the Three Wheeler arrived in from opposite side it has been revealed.

Power Cut To Be Stopped From This Wednesday -Minister Ravi Katunanayake
The Power cut implemented by the
Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB)in many areas in the Island since 25 th of March will be stopped from this Wednesday according to the Minister of Power and Energy Ravi Karunanayake.
The Power Cut which is being implemented three hours in the morning and one hour in the evening during weekdays and Two hours in the morning and one hour in the evening has been implemented due to purchasing of a stock of power generators with techincal defects it has been revealed.
Minister has appealed from the public to use electricity carefully due to the dry weather prevailing in hydrocatchment areas.
A Wild Elephant Was Killed Due To An Electrocution
The Elephant was killed after colliding with an Electricity line laid near the Army commando base it has been revealed.
Wellawaya Wild Life office is conducting the post mortem of the deceased Elephant .
