Time Frames Fixed To Hang Drug Smugglers -President Sirisena

President Maithripala Sirisena has
today (31)said that he has already finalised the time frame of imposing capital punishment on drug smugglers .

To implement Capital punishment over drug smugglers all laws regarding it strengthens already President  has stressed during an Anti Narcotic Programme held in Modara this morning with the participation of all religious leaders.

Meanwhile Archbishop  of Colombo Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith has stressed during a church mass held in Ja-Ela today that if there are Drug smugglers among catholics they should have been expelled from the catholic council .

IGP To Consider Police Bail Out Incident Of Cricketer Dimuth Karunaratne Who Had Been Involved In An Accident Under The Influence Of Liquor

Jayasundara had pay attention over granting police bail to Sri Lanka's Test Cricket Captain Dimuth Karunaratne after arresting him over driving a vehicle under the influence of liquor.

However Borella police have said that the Cricketer had been released on bail accordance to a statement given by the Three wheeler driver who got injured due to the incident and his wife by saying they do not want to carrying this case further.

Three wheeler driver had been injured and admitted to Colombo National Hospital after his Three Wheeler collided with the Vehicle driven by the Cricketer  Karunaratne.

Around 12 Passengers Had Been Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Bus Collision

Around 12 Passengers had been injured two of them critically and hospitalized after a Sri
Lanka Transport Board(SLTB) Bus and a Private Bus they were travelling in colliding with each other in Bangadeniya Junction on Colombo-Puttalam road thsi morning (31).

The injured had been admitted to Chilaw District Hospital for treatment .The incident occurred when the Private Bus travelling from Mannar to Colombo had collided with the rare part  of   Sri Lanka Transport Board bus travelling from Vavuniya to Colombo parked in Bangadeniya Junction .

Motor Traffic division of the Chilaw Police have arrested the two Bus drivers regarding the accident .
