Two Nigerian Nationals Had Been Arrested Over Staying In The Country Illegally

Mount Lavinia Police have arrested two
Nigerian Nationals over staying in Sri Lanka illegally without valid visa docuememts at a house in Gamini Road ,Rathmalana last evening(08).

The two suspects who are 35 and 21 years of age are due to be produced before Mount Lavinia Magistrate court today (09)

Minister Lakshman Kiriella Has Ordered To Remove Night Bazasrs Barbequing Meat At Dalada Weediya(Street)

Lakashman Kiriella has yesterday(08)told in  parliament that he has ordered the Kandy district mayor to remove all night bazaars in Dalada Street Kandy (Near sacred Dalada Maligawa) which barbaqueing meat  with immediatte effect.

Chief Buddhist prelates of the country  Venerable Theros attached to Malwatte and Asgiriya chapters have also expressed displeassure over these night bazasrs Minister Kiriella has said .

He has revealed this by responding to a question raised by United National Party (UNP) M.Velu Kumar.

Amercian Lab Confirms Bone Parts Of Mannar Mass Grave Belonging To Portugese-Dutch Period

American Laboratory "Florida Beta fAnaylist "has yesterday (07)confirmed after performing Carbon test on six bone samples taken out from a Mass Grave in Mannar belonging to Portugese -Dutch era between 1400-1650 AD  according to sources.

The Florida Beta Analyst Lab had sent it's report to Mannar Magistrate Court yesterday.

Bone parts of Around 330 bodies including 30 children  had been  recovered from the Mass grave.

Meanwhile Mannar Magistrate Court has today ordered the officials to halt the excavation work of the grave temporaily .
