2019 Annual Budget Proposals To Be Presented To Parliament Tomorrow (05)

Samaraweera is due to be presented 2019 Annual Budget proposals to the parliament tomorrow(05).

The United National Front government has named this years budget as a budget providing benefits to Enterprenurs ,Sri Lankan people especially poor comnunity according to reports.

Meanwhile it has been revealed that the backbench MP's of UNF Government are planning to defeat President Maithripala sirisena's expenditure proposal.

CID Arrested The Former OIC Regarding The Killings Of Two Rathgama Businessmen

Criminal Investigations Department

(CID) officers have today (04)arrested the former OIC Of Special Investigations Unit in Southern Province Chief Police Inspector Saman Rohana over the abduction and killing of two Businessmen in Rathgama area .

CID has also arrested a Police Constable and a Wild Life officer regarding the murder case and they have been remanded until 13 th of March by the Galle Additional Magistrate Harshana Kakunawela after been produced them before the court.

Seventeen Persons Arrested With Cocaine Yesterday (03)Had Been Remanded

Seventeen persons including fourteen

males and three females arrested yesterday (03)with a haul of Cocaine at a Hotel in Polhena,Matara had been remanded until 08 th of March by the Matara Magistrate Court today (04).

The Seventeen suspects had been produced before the Matara Magistrate court today (04).

Police officers attached to Anti Corruption Unit of the Matara division had arrested the suspects during a raid .
Matara Police are conducting an investigations over the incident.
