A Wild Life Officers Was Killed Due To A Wild Elephant Attack

A 35 year old Wild Life officer had been

killed due to a Wild Elephant attack at Nelum Wewa in Polonnaruwa last night (15).

The deceased Wild Life officer was engaged in chasing away Wild Elephants who have entered villages in search of food it has been revealed .

He was a resident of New Town in Uduwala ,Polonnaruwa area .

A 22 Year Old Female Navy Officer Had Commuted Suicide

A 22 year old Female Navy officer attached to Southern Naval Base  had committed suicide by

hanging her self  at her house at  Mahawila ,Uragasmanhandiya  last evening (15) it has been reported.

The deceased female officer had wrote a letter before hanging her self by stating she was 
 commuting  suicide because of a problem arisen in Naval base  it has been revealed.

The deceased was on leave at the time of the incident.

A 77 Year Old British National Had Been Drowned At Mount Lavinia Sea

A 77 year old British National had been drowned whilst bathing with his wife at Mount Lavinia

sea coast last evening (15)  it has been reported.

The British National had been drifted away by rough sea waves and drowned according to reports.He was later rescued ,Bit died on admission to Kalubowila Teaching Hospital .

The deceased was stayed at a Housing Complex at Vidyala Mawatha (Road) ,Mount Lavinia temporarily along with his wife it has been revealed.
