Four Maldivians Arrested Whilst Filming Katunayake Airport By A Drone Camera

Police have arrested four Maldivian
Nationals including three males and a female whilst filming the Katunayake International Airport located at Katunayake High security zone through a Drone Camera without a permission last night  (02)at Katana area .

The suspects who are of the ages between 19-23 years are scheduled to be produced before the court .

Two Motorcyclists Arrested Whilst Transporting Heroin To Badulla

Uva Provincial District Dangerous Drug
Control Unit Officers have today  (03)arrested two Motorcyclists whilst transporting 10.11 Grammes of Heroin by hiding it in their underwear from Kilmunai to Badulla City ,At rideepana in Soranathota ,Badulla.

The estimated value of the  haul of Heroin taken in to custody in possession of the suspects is around Rs.450,000 it has been revealed.

One of the suspects is a finance manager attached to a Private institute in Kilmunai according to reports .

The two suspects who are 34 and 35 year old persons residing in Pandirippu and Kalmunai areas are due to be produced before the court .

89 Persons Including 06 Females Arrested With Narcotics At A Facebook Party

Hingurakgoda Police have arrested 89
persons including 06 females with stocks of narcotics including Heroin ,Kerala Cannabis ,Cannabis and Ice in their possession  at a Facebook Party held in a hotel at Hingurakgoda  (North Central Province )in wee hours of this morning  (03).

The suspects who are of the ages between 19 to 45 years were engaged in consuming narcotics at the time Police officers have raided the hotel it has been revealed.

The suspects are residents of Dehiwala ,Colombo ,Homagama ,Anuradhapura ,Thambuttegama ,Polonnaruwa, Trincomalee, Kurunagala and Bandi Wewa areas according to Police.

The Drug Party has been organized through a Facebook Police have Stressed. Hingurakgoda Police are conducting an investigations over the incident.
