Ten Foreign Nationals And Five Locals Had Been Injured Due To A Wasp Attack At Little Sripadha

Ten Foreign Nationals and Five Sri

Lankans had been injured and hospitalized due to a Wasp attack occurred whilst climbing the Little "Sripadha " Mountain at Ella ,Badulla This morning (23).

The injured had been admitted to the Demodara Provincial Hospital for treatment .

The incident occurred as a result of the provoking of a wasps in a nest at a Tree nearby  it has been revealed. 

Ella Police are conducting an investigations over the incident. 

Two Youth Had Drowned In MahawelI River

Two youth had drowned whilst bathing

in Mahaweli River at Gampola area (Central Province ) this evening  (23).

The two youth of the ages 16 and 23 years old had faced this incident whilst bathing with their father it has been revealed.

A search operation has been launched to find out the missing youth who are residents of Ethgala ,Gampola area .

A Fire Erupted In A Two Storey Building At Veyangoda Had Doused

A Sudden fire erupted in the upper

floor of the Two storey building near the keenawala Railway station in Veyangoda had doused by the fire brigade attached to Gampaha Urban Council this morning  (22).

No casualties had been reported due to the incident.

The authorities believes an Electric leak may have caused the fire .

The  value of the damage occurred due to the fire  has not yet been estimated.
