Investigation Reports On Parliamentary Brawl Incident To Be Handed Over To Attorney General
Reports of investigations carried out
over the brawl incidents occurred at Parliament During two days in last November are due to be handed over to the Attorney General Jayantha Jayasuriya in view of taking legal acation against those involved in the brawl incidents according to Parliamentary sources.
A special committee appointed by the Speaker Karu Jayasuriya headed by Deputy Speaker Ananda Kumarasiri and A Police Team have conducted an investigations over the incidents.

Meanwhile Election Monitors PAFFERAL has stressed that Transport Allowance had been paid to those MP's who had involved in Brawl incidents during the two days by using public funds .It's not fair to pay Transport allowances to such persons by using public funds PAFFERAL has stated.

A heavy traffic prevailed at Highlevel
road this morning (14 )for more than one hour as Parents of students attached to Nugegoda Anula Balika Vidyalaya (Collage )had sraged a protest in front of the school it has been reported.
Parents had staged the protest against Western Provincial Governor Asath Sally's decision to reopen the Daham Pasala (Daham school)conducted at primary section of the School which stopped under the orders of School principal since 06th of January .
Governor Sally has no right to intervene school activities parents had shouted during the protest. Protesters had also shouted slogans saying Governor Sally had threatened the school principal through the phone.
However Governor Sally has said he just informed the school principal to conduct the Daham Pasala which now conducted outside the school ,within school premises again.
Due to the Protest a lane of the Colombo -Maharagama road had been closed for traffic.
