A Female Motorcyclist Was Killed Due To A Road Accident
A 47 year old Female Motorcycle rider
had been killed and a Pillion rider had been injured and hospitalized after the Motorcycle they were riding in veering off the road and colliding with a lamp post at Veda Junction in KotaDeniyawa ,Meerigama -Divulapitiya road last night (05).
The critically injured Female Motorcyclist who was a resident of Banduragoda area had succumbed to her injuries on admission to Meerigama Hospital .
The Pillion rider had been also admitted to Meerigama Hospital for treatment .
The incident occurred due to the Motorcyclist's inability to control the spead of the Motorcycle.

Transferes Of 72 Police OIC's Had Been Cancelled In Accordance With The Instructions Of Police Commission
Transferes of 72 Police OIC"s (Officer In
Charge ) made by Inspector General Of Police (IGP)Pujith Jayasundara had been cancelled as per the instructions of National Police Commission and Defense Secretary.
IGP Has made these transferes by saying they have approved by National Police Commission, However within 48 hours after the Police message issued regarding the Transferes ,IGP himself has cancelled them.
It has been revealed without the approval of Police Commission, IGP Jayasundara has made these transferes .
Later IGP has issued another Police Message saying transferes of 72 OIC's had been cancelled in accordance with the instructions of the Commission and Defense Secretary.
