 New Governors appointed for Five

Provinces had been sworn in before President Maithrpala Sirisena at President's office in Colombo this evening (04).

President has appointed five new Governors today after previous Governors had resigned from their posts accordance the request made by the President .

Accordingly Azath Sali had sworn in as the Governor of Western Province ,Recently elected President's Counsal Maithri Gunaratna as new Governor of Central Province ,Sarath Kongahage as Governor of North Western Province ,Pashala Jayaratne as Governor of North Central Province and M.L.A.M Hisbulla as Governor of Eastern Province.

Namal Kumara Who Revealed A VIP Assassination Plot Accepted Allegations Against Him

Force Namal Kumara who had revealed an Assasination plot of VIP had yesterday (03)accepted that he has produced Fraudulent documents when join Sri Lanka Army and Navy regarding his educational qualifications.

He has also told that he is ready to accept  any punishment regarding his acts.

Criminal Investigations Department  (CID) which investigating on  the VIP Assasination plot revealed by Namal Kumara had recently informed the court that he was an Army and Navy deserter who produced false education certificates when joining the two forces .
