MP Udaya Gammanpila Says He Is Ready To Withdraw From.Government

MP Gammanpila has also accused UNP For grabbing the power by using judiciary and there's a question arisen what happened to democracy.

President Says He Will Accept The Supreme Court's Decision To Cancel His Gazette
President Maithripala Sirisena who had
implemented a Constitutional coup last October against Good Governance Government ,Has told this evening (13)he will accept the Supreme Court's verdict delivered today cancelling the Extra ordinary Gazette Notification issued by him to dissolve Parliament.
However addressing the MP Group of United People's Freedom Alliance (UPFA) met at President's office in Colombo this evening soon after the Supreme Court's verdict ,President has stated he will not ready again to form a Government with United National Party Premier Ranil Wikramasinghe and requested Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) MP's not to make suggestions to form a coalition government with UNP.
President who had faced a worst ever defeat due to today's Supreme Court verdict has stressed that he will do anything to prevent UNP From grabbing the power and said he dissolved Parliament to protect the country from UNP's harmful policies .
He pledged to strengthen Anti UNP Forces .
Former President Mahinda Rajapakshe was among UPFA MP's who had attended the Meeting.
The MP Group is scheduled to meet tomorrow (14)as well after the Supreme Court's decision on Appeal made by former President Mahinda Rajapakshe against suspending his premiership .

Protesters Lit Fire Crackers To Express JOY In Front Of Supreme Court After Judge Panel Ordered To Cancel President's Gazette Notification
A group of protesters gathered outside
the Supreme Court premises had lit fire crackers and expressed their joy soon after the Seven member Judge Panel had ordered to cancel the extra ordinary Gazette Notification issued by President Maithripala Sirisena dissolving Parliament.
Protesters had shouted slogans supporting a United National Party (UNP) government and some have shown hoppers in hands to express their opposition to President Sirisena .
However security has tightened in and around Supreme Court complex in Hulftsdorf, Colombo since this noon after announcing the seven member Judge Panel will.deliver the verdict on President's Gazette this evening .
Riot Police and sniffer dogs have also been deployed in front of the Supreme court to.provide extra security and no outsiders allowed to enter court premises during the period it has been reported.

Seven Member Supreme Court Judge Panel Has Unanimously Decided The Presidents Gazette On Dissolving Parliament Not In Accordance To The Constitution
The seven member Judge Panel of
Supreme Court has this evening (13)unanimously decided the Extra ordinary Gazette Notification issued by President Maithripala Sirisena on 09 th of November to dissolve Parliament was not in accordance to the Constitution therefore the Gazette is illegal .
The Judge Panel has therefore ordered to cancel the Gazette Notification 2096/70 issued regarding dissolving Parliament.
After hearing of 18 petitions filed by Political parties ,Civil organization's and activists against the President's Gazette Nitification on 04th,05th,06th and 07 of December the seven member Judge Panel has given their verdict today .
The Judge Panel has also accepted that the fundamental rights of petitioners had been violated through the Gazette issued by President dissolving the Parliament as stated in their petitions.
The Judge Panel headed by Chief Justice Nalin Perera had delivered the much awaited verdict regarding the Gazette Notification issued by President ,This evening .The other Judges of the Panel were Buwaneka Aluvihare, Prasanna Jayawardana, Priyantha Jayawardana ,Sisira De Abrew ,Vijith ,k.Malalgoda and Madu Fernando .
The hearing of all.petitions filed against President's Gazette Notification has been concluded at 7 p.m on 07th of December and the interim court order issued suspending the Gazette Notification has been extended till the delivery of the verdict on Gazette .
Among the Petitioners filed fundamental Rights petitions against President's Gazette Notification were Young Journalists Association and a member of Elections Commission Professor Doole.
