Parliament is due to be convened at

10.30 a.m today(05)under the patronage of Speaker Karu Jayasuriya .

A party leaders meeting is scheduled to be held prior to the Parliament proceedings this morning to finalise today's agenda  and all party  leaders have been invited to participate the meeting it has been revealed.

Current Political Conflict Will Be Settled Within Next Week -President

There's no political issue in the country

but a Political conflict and that conflict will be settled during next seven days President Maithripala Sirisena has told his Party members during the special convention of Sri Lanka Freedom Party held in Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium in Colombo yesterday (04).

President has also stressed he has dissolved the Parliament and appointed a New Premier to save the country. "United National Party of Ranil Wikramasinghe and Good governance government had destroyed the country and President with some extent .Will not appoint Ranil as premier again  as his political vision and system not suits for the country "President has revealed  .

Around 60 Percent Of Construction Sites In Colombo And Suburbs Have Dengue Mosquito Breeding Places -Director General Of Health Services

Around 60 percent of the new cinstruction  sites in Colombo and Suburbs revealed as have either Dengue Mosquito breeding places or bread Dengue Mosquitoes larvae already according to Director General Of Health Services Dr.Anil Jasinghe.

As these Newly construction  sites have  become  Dengue spreading centers , Ministry of Health has proposed the Contract Companies who are in charge of these Construction sites  two ways to combat the problem and the Companies have agreed to implement them Dr.Jasinghe has stressed.

The two ways proposed to Contract companies to remove Dengue Mosquito Breeding  places in Construction sites
 Are minimise water filling areas in sites and to use pest  control method to destroy DeNiue Mosquito larvae it has been revealed. 

Ministry Of Health To Strict Over Worm Contained Canned Fish

Food Advisory Committee in Ministry Of Health has decided not to allow Canned Fish containing  worms to enter Sri Lankan market again and as a result all the consignments of Canned fish imported to Sri Lanka will be subjected to inspection  before releasing to the market according to Director General Of Health Services Dr.Anil Jasinghe.

Canned fish containing worms will not  be allowed  to enter local market based on the factor "loathsome " he has stressed.

A Stock. Of Canned fish containing worms imported to  Sri Lanka from China and few other Asian  countries had been released recently to the market it has been revealed.

However no complaints have been received from consumers regarding the Worm contained canned fish Dr.Jasinghe has stressed during a press briefing held at Health Promotions Bureau in Colombo last Monday  (03).
