A Sudden Fire Erupted In A Three Storied Building In Battaramulla

Brigade are currently engaging in dousing a fire suddenly erupted in a house located in a Three storied building in Palawatte,Battaramulla.

No casualties has been reported due to the incident  and the cause of the fire has not yet been revealed.

A Person Had Been Arrested With A Haul Of Heroin

Police have arrested a 27 year old
person with 2.80 Grammes of Heroin in his possession at Sembarankotuwa area,Mount Lavinia last evening (01).

A legal action is due to be taken against the suspect who is a resident of Mount Lavinia .

If the things worked according to the Gazette Notification issued by President Regarding dissolving Parliament and holding a General.Election ,The country should be stabled now he has stressed .

The only way to restore democracy in The country is to hold a general election new Premier has said .

A Meeting Scheduled To Be Held Between UNF Leaders And President Today (02) Had Been Postponed Until Tomorrow (03)

A meeting scheduled  to be held
between United National  Front  (UNF)Leaders and  President Maithripala Sirisena this evening (02)to find out a solution to the current political confict had been  postponed until 8 p.m tomorrow (03)according to sources .

President has informed United ,National Front Leaders that a meeting with them will be held after a meetinig between United People's Freedom Alliance and Podu Jana Peramuna (Pohottuwa" symbol) regarding the current conflict .

UNF Leaders had met the President and held discussions with him over the political conflict  last friday  (30)as well.
