Three Passangers Had Been Killed And Twenty Injured Due To A Road Accident In Naththandiya

Three female  Passangers  Had been killed and around Twenty
 Passangers injured and hospitalized after the luxury bus they were travelling in from Jaffna to Colombo had veering off the road and toppled over to the Hamilton Canal in Walahapitiya ,Naththandiya area on Negambo -Chilaw road  this evening  (29).

The injured had been admitted to Marawila Base Hospital for treatment and the number of dead and injured Passangers may  be higher than the number that have been reported according to Marawila Police .Around 30-40 Passangers were travelling in the bus at the time of the incident according to reports.

The deceased were residents of Jaffna Police have stated.

The incident occurred due to the driver's inability to control the speed of the vehicle it has been revealed .

Marawila Police are conducting further investigations to find out the missing.

Parliament To Meet Today (29)At 10.30 A.M

Parliament to meet today  (29)at 10.30
a.m.A party leaders meeting is scheduled to be held at 9 a.m this morning at the Parliamentary complex under the patronage of Speaker Karu Jayasuriya to discuss on today's agenda.

However Minority government MP's who had boycotted the laSt too parliamentary sessions have not yet been decided whether to participate in today's sessions it has been announced. They are due to be convened a meeting at Parliamentary Complex at 8.30 a.m today to decide whether to participate in today's party leaders conference and Parliamentary sessions .

The public and VIP Galleries are due to be closed today as well according to the sources .Security in and around Parliament to be tightened ahead of today's parliamentary sessions .

An Action Plan To Prevent Child Molestation Has Been Launched

An action plan to prevent Child
Molestation in Sri Lanka has been launched at a ceremony held in Health Promotions Bureau at Kynsey Road, Colombo last Tuesday (27).

The action plan titled "Every child is precious -Let's protect them "has been printed as a book in Sinhala,English  and Tamil medium and published by Save the children Organization.

Addressing the event Director  of the "GrassrootEd Trust " Hans Bilimoria  has told as there's an increase of children accessing the Internet and social media at a very young age the chance of them to expose to molestation has  increased .
