Three Persons Had Been Arrested With A Stock Of "Tramadol "Tablets

Minuwangoda Police have arrested
three Persons with around 4008 tablets of prescribed drug"Tramadol " also considered  as a narcotic illegally in their possession at Minuwangoda Town last friday (16)

The suspects are residents of Kotugoda and Ragama areas and the estimated value of the stock of "Tramadol"tablets taken into custody in their possession is more than Rs.one million .


Four Persons Injured Due To A Motor Car Accident

Two persons had received minor
injuries and two others had been critically injured and hospitalized after the Motor Car they were travelling in veering off the road and falling  in to a precipice around 50 feet  deep at Radella area in Hatton -Nuwara Eliya main road last evening  (17 )..

The two critically injured persons had been admitted to Nuwara Eliya Hospital for treatment .

The accident had occurred due to the heavy mist and slippery condition of the roads due to the heavy showers prevailing in most of the Central Hill areas these days .

"President Has Agreed To Accept Results Of A Vote Conducted By Voice To Pass No Confidence Motion "-Minister Lakshman Kiriella

When representatives of the parties
supported the No confidence Motion submitted against the minoroty government had met the President Maithripala Sirisena  last Thursday  (16 )president has agreed to accept the vote conducted to pass the  no confidence  motion by voice according to Minister Of United National Front Lakshman Kiriella.

"President has  requested  us to  conduct a vote by names of MP"s to pass the No confidence motion re submitted against the Minority Government  .We agreed.However when asked if we are not allowed to conduct such a vote in Parliament on friday President has agreed to accept  the result of a vote conducted  by voice Minister Kiriella has stressed.

"Even he has promised us to advise his Party MP's in the minoroty government to behave in pleasant manner during the Parliament session. "Minister Kiriella has stressed during a press briefing held at Temple Trees today.

Meanwhile Appointed Minister of minority government S.B Dissanayake has said President has told the UPFA MP' s in the minority government that he is not ready to meet  United National Front members till they have passed the no confidence motion in Parliament in proper way .

Addressing a function held at Kasagala Temple appointed Premier Mahinda Rajapakshe has said he can't be removed from the premiership forcibly or unlawfully.

Justifying thuggery United People's Freedom Alliance  (UPFA)MP in Puttalam District Priyankara Jayaratne has said today the minority government  will show their power again on 19 th of November  if the United National Front is attempting to pass the No confidence motion again unlawfully .

President Has Called An All Party Conference Tomorrow (18)

President Maithripala Sirisena has
called an All Party Conference of all political parties represent in Parliament tomorrow (18) at 5 p.m in President's office .

Speaker Karu Jayasuriya has  also invited to attend this conference it has been reported .

The Conference scheduled to be  held with the  aim of ending  political turmoil and disputes occurred   in Parliament recently and continuing  Parliament activities in good manner  according to President's Media Unit.

An agreement regarding this aspect  is expected  to be reached among all Political parties during  this conference Unit has said .

Meanwhile two.meetings scheduled  to be held between President and Deputy Leader of United National Party Sajith Prrmadasa and President and Tamil National Alliance (TNA)regarding the no confidence motion passed in Parliament yesterday (17) had been postponed it has been revealed.

Minority Government May Set Fire To The Parliament On Monday -UNP MP Nalin Bandara

Minority government may set fire to
the Parliament During it's next sitting on this Monday (19)although the United National Front (UNF) government  Members will not harm anyone   according to the UNF MP Nalin Bandara .

Addressing a media briefing held in Prime Minister's official residence "Temple Trees" today (17) MP Bandara has said United National Party will submit a motion to the Parliament on Monday regarding a vote of no confidence .
