Prices Of Diesel And Petrol To Be Reduced From Tonight (15)
Prices of Octane -92 and Octane -95
Petrol and Auto and Super Diesel are due to be reduced by Rs.5 each with effect from midnight tonight (15)according to newly appointed Minister of Petroleum Resources Gamini Lokuge.
New Premier Mahinda Rajapakshe has this morning announced at Parliament the Prices of all kinds of Petrol and Diesel will be reduced from midnight tonight .
The price reduction is being implemented after consulting with Ministry of Finance it has been announced.

Speaker Announced He Will Not Recognize New Premier And Cabinet Hereafter -A Tense Situation Occurred In Parliament
Speaker Karu Jayasuriya has today
(15)announced at Parliament hereafter he will not recognize Newly appointed Prime Minister and Cabinet Ministers as they were defeated through a no confidence motion signed by 122 MP's yesterday (15).
A tense situation occurred when newly appointed Premier Mahinda Rajaoakshe make a special statement at Parliament soon after the opening of the Parliament Session this morning, as he requested all MP's of the house to support to go for a General Election.
United National Front (UNF )government MP's who had seated at opposition Bench have continously disturbed Premier Rajapakshe's speach .
After the speech the leader of the House of UNF government Lakshman Kiriella has stated they have no faith on new Premier's speech. Then MP's and newly appointed Ministers of United People's Freedom Alliance have ran towards Speaker's bench prevented by UNF MP's.After heated arguments erupted between UPFA MP's supporting New premier Mahinda Rajapakshe and Speaker Karu Jayasuriya ,some angry UPFA MP's have seen throwing dustbins and various elements towards speaker.
However UNP MP's surrounded speakers chair had collected them and thrown in to those who thrown them towards speaker .
Afterwards new Premier Rajapakshe had seen leaving The house and soon after constitutionally elected Premier Ranil Wikramasinghe too left the house .
Speaker Karu Jayasuriya Had left the house as UPFA MP's not allow him to conduct the Parliamentary proceedings.

reported in and around Town Hall area (Colombo)due to the ongoing Protest Rally organized by United National Front led by United National Party (UNP)at Lipton Circus .
The Protest Rally which commenced around 2 p.m this evening has organized against illegally appointed government according to organisers.
Addressing the Rally Deputy Leader of UNP Sajith Premadasa has said there is a struggle between Ranil 's power and Mahinda s Power at present .
A massive crowd is being attended the Rally it has been reported.
