Parliamentary Session Had Prorogued Until 21st of November -Later A Decision Was Taken To Convene It Tomorrow (16)

Parliamentary session had prorogued

by the speaker Karu Jayasuriya until 21st of November due to a tense situation occurred at Parliament today .

However Speaker has later announced after a meeting held with Party leaders that the Parliament Will commence at 1.30 p.m tomorrow (16).

Speaker Announced He Will Not Recognize New Premier And Cabinet Hereafter -A Tense Situation Occurred In Parliament

Speaker Karu Jayasuriya has today

(15)announced at Parliament hereafter he will not recognize Newly appointed Prime Minister and Cabinet Ministers as they were defeated through a no confidence motion signed by 122 MP's yesterday  (15).

A tense situation occurred when newly appointed Premier Mahinda Rajaoakshe make a special statement at Parliament soon after the opening of the Parliament Session this morning, as he requested all MP's of the house to support to go for a General Election.

United National Front (UNF )government MP's who had seated at opposition Bench have continously disturbed Premier Rajapakshe's speach .
After the speech the leader of the House of UNF government Lakshman Kiriella has stated they have no faith on new Premier's speech. Then MP's and newly appointed Ministers of United People's Freedom Alliance have ran towards Speaker's bench prevented by UNF MP's.After heated arguments erupted between UPFA MP's supporting New premier Mahinda Rajapakshe and Speaker Karu Jayasuriya ,some angry UPFA MP's have seen throwing dustbins and various elements towards speaker.

However UNP MP's surrounded speakers chair had collected them and thrown in to those who thrown them towards speaker .

Afterwards new Premier Rajapakshe had seen leaving The house and soon after constitutionally elected Premier Ranil Wikramasinghe too left the house .
Speaker Karu Jayasuriya Had left the house as UPFA MP's not allow him to conduct  the Parliamentary proceedings. 

Heavy Traffic Congestion In And Around Town Hall Due To A UNP Protest Rally

A Heavy traffic congestion has been

reported in and around Town Hall area  (Colombo)due to the ongoing  Protest Rally organized by United National Front  led by United National Party (UNP)at Lipton  Circus .


The Protest Rally which commenced around 2 p.m this evening has organized against illegally appointed government according to organisers.

Addressing the Rally Deputy Leader of UNP Sajith Premadasa has said there is a struggle between Ranil 's power and Mahinda s Power at present .

A massive crowd is being attended the Rally it has been reported.

No Government In The World Has Recognised Newly Appointed Sri Lankan Government -MP Manusha Nanayakkara

No government in the world has

recognised the newly appointed government in Sri Lanka according to MP Manusha Nanayakkara who has quitted the new government and joined United National Party has said today (14).

Addressing a media briefing held at Parliamentary Complex in Colombo this evening, MP Manusha has said as a result of the interim order issued by Supreme Court against dissolvement of Parliament the legitimate Government has managed chase away the illegal government led by illegal Prime Mimister and that was a turning point of democracy.

He has quitted the new government behalf of Democracy and Justice MP has stated .

After he has resigned from his Ministerial Portfolio in new government and joined UNP, President has dissolved the Parliament as the government not able to show the majority in Parliament he has stressed .

Another group of Sri Lanka Freedom Party MP's due to join UNP Government soon MP Manusha has further  said .

Newly Appointed Premier Mahinda Rajapakshe To Make A Special Statement In Parliament Tomorrow (15)

The Prime minister appointed by the

President Maithripala Sirisena, Mahinda Rajapakshe is due to make a special statement tomorrow (15)at Parliament regarding the no confidence motion submitted against the new government and future policies of Government according to appointed Minister Vasudeva Nanayakkara .

He has revealed this during a Press briefing held in Colombo this evening  (14 ).

The letter sent by the Speaker Karu Jayasuriya to President Maithripala Sirisena regarding today's no confidence motion voting result has not accepted by the President he has said.

Another appointed Minister  Susil Premjayantha has said during the briefing ,There's no formal Parliament, No formal proposal submitted on no confidence and no formal voting held today at Parliament when commenting on no confidence motion .

Prime Mimister, The Cabinet and the Government appointed by President will continue further he has said .

Appointed Minister S.B Dissanayake too made similar remarks by saYing the current government will continue further.
