A New Student Convener Has Been Appointed To Inter University Students Federation

Inter University Students Federation 

(IUSF) which organizes University Students protests has elected the former President of the Peradeniya University Students Union Mahil Bandara Dehideniya as it's new convener during a meeting held yesterday(10 ).

He has  replaced the former convener of IUSF Lahiru weerasekara unanimously by All University Student Unions  representatives during a meeting held at University of Peradeniya. 

USA And Canada Says They Are Deeply Concerned On The Dissolvement Of Sri Lankan Parliament

US State Department and Canada have stated yesterday  (10)they are deeply concerned  over the dissolvement of Parliament by President Maithripala Sirisena.

US State Departments has stated through a Twitter message "dissolvement of Parliament will further deepened the political crisis .As a committed partner of Sri Lanka USA believes Democratic institutions and process need to be respected at this stage to ensure stability and progress  "it says.

Canadian Government too says It will deeply concerned on the dissolvement of Sri Lankan Parliament.

Three Sabaragamuwa University Students Have Drowned In Pahanthuda Falls

Three Third year students attached to

the Sabaragamuwa University have  drowned today  (10)whilst bathing in Pahanthuda Ella (Falls)at Belihuloya ,Balangoda with a group of University Students it has been reported.

The deceased students who were 24 and 25 year old residents of JAFFNA District had been rescued whilst drowning by the villagers of the area and admitted to Balangoda Hospital where they have pronounced as dead after admission .

Balangoda Police are conducting an investigations over the incident.
