Flood Threat Occured As Two Rivers Are Overflowing
Accordingly Water of Nilvala River and Yan Oya (River) is overflowing from Panadugama and Horowpathana areas respectively. Water levels of Ma Oya and Attanagalu oya are being reaching spill level from Galgamuwa and Dunamale areas .
Central Bank Bond Scam Suspects Arjun Aloysius And Kasun Palisena Had Been Further Remanded

Limited Arjun Aloysius and the Chief Executive Officer of the Limited Kasun Palisena who are in remand over their involvement in Central Bank Bond Scam ,had been further remanded until 21 st of November by the Colombo Fort Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake today (08).
The two suspects had been further remanded after being produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate.
The Magistrate has informed the Criminal Investigations Department to speed up the investigations of Bond Scam and report it's progress to the next court date .

Another Tragic Death- A Wild Elephant Was Killed After Colliding With A Train
A Wild Elephant in his 30's was killed
after colliding with a 'Rajarata Rajina "Express Train travelling from Vavuniya to Matara this morning (08)at Gatadivula area between Ambanpola and Galgamuwa Railway stations in Northern Railway line it has been reported .
The deceased Elephant had faced this incident Whilest crossing the Rail Track at Elephant Crossing in search of food it has been revealed. He was on the way to Thekkawatte Reserve at the time of the incident and the critically injured Wild Elephant had succumbed to his injuries whilest receiving treatment from Veterinary doctors attached to Galgamuwa Wild Life office .
Train and the Rail Track have not been damaged due to the incident.
