Tamil Medium Schools In Central Province To Be Closed Tomorrow (05) Due To 'Deepavali"

All Tamil medium schools in Central
Province will be closed tomorrow (05)due to the " Deepavali" hindu festival scheduled to be celebrated on this Tuesday (06)according to Educational authorities in the province.

Schools which received the holidays tomorrow will be conducted missing classes for students  on this Saturday(10) .

Two Protest Campaigns Are To Be Held in Colombo Tomorrow (05)

Parties supporting the President
Maithripala Sirisena and newly elected Premier Mahinda Rajapakshe are due to conduct a public protest campaign  titled 'Jana Mahimaya" at Parliamentary roundabout tomorrow noon (03) from 12 noon .

The protest campaign is being organized to show the strength of the new government appointed by President Maithripala Sirisena recently it has been revealed .

Due to this protest vehicle movement will be restricted in surrounding roads of Parliament Road  according to Police.

Meanwhile governing United National Party is  also scheduled to be staged a protest campaign in Colombo tomorrow (05) by demanding to convene the Parliament as soon as possible.

Three Youth Had Been Arrested With 1.126 Kilo Grammes Of Kerala Cannabis

Omanthai Traffic Police have arrested
three youth whilest  transporting 1.126 Kilo Grammes of Kerala Cannabis in a Motor Car at Omanthai  in Vavuniya this evening (04).

The suspects who are residents of Samanthurai area had hidden the stock of Kerala Cannabis inside a bag it has been revealed.

The suspects had been arrested whilest transporting the stock of Kerala Cannabis from Jaffna to Samanthurai area .Suspects are due to be produced before Vavuniya Magistrate Court.

President Sirisena Has Decided To Convene The Parliament On 14 Th Of November

President Maithripala Sirisena has
signed and issued an extra ordinary Gazette notification this evening (04 ) to convene the Parliament on 14 th of November although he has earlier informed the speaker Karu Jayasuriya that the Parliament Will be convened on this Wednesday  (07).

According to the Gazette Notification the Parliament Will be convened at 10 a.m on 14 th of November .

President Sirisena has prorogued the Parliament without informing the speaker until 16 th of November soon after appointing new Prime Mimister.
