Special Police Task Force Personal Recruited For The Security Of Attorney General's Department

Inspector General Of Police  (IGP)has

recruited Special Police Task Force Personal for the security of Attorney General's Department since last friday (02)evening as per a request made by the Department .

Attorney General's Department has requested the special security due to a threat of removing legal documents in the Department related to Fraud and Crimes according to sources .

A Youth Has Died After Falling From A Train

A 28 year old youth has died after

falling from a Intercity Train travelling from Colombo to Jaffna at Thandikulam area in Vavuniya (Northern Province)last evening (04 ) it has been reported.

The deceased who was a resident of Chunnakam area had fallen to the ground whilest travelling in the footboard of the Train it has been revealed.

The body of the Deceased had been sent to Vavuniya Hospital for the post mortem.

Fort Magistrate Ordered CID Last Friday (02)To Arrest Chief Of Defense Staff Rear Admiral Wijegunawardana Before 09th

Fort Magistrate Ranga Dassanayake has

last friday (02)ordered the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to arrest chief of Defense Staff Rear Admiral Ravindra Wijegunawardana before 09th of November over helping Navy Lieutinent Commander Chandana Prasad Suriyaarachchi allias "Navy Sampath "who is in Remand over abduction and dissapearence of 11 youth in Colombo ,to hide .

The Fort Magistrate has ordered the CID to arrest the Chief Of Defense Staff Wijegunawardana  before the next court date which is on 09 th.

When Fort Magistrate has asked the CID the reason behind delaying the arrest  of Rear Admiral Wijegunawardana ,CID replied it is due to the influence of higher officials .

UNP MP's To Surround The Parliament On 07 th If The President Does Not Convene It That Day -MP.Ajith .P. Perera

If the President Maithripala Sirisena

does not convene the Parliament on next Wednesday (07)as promised Parliamentarians belonging to Governing United National Party (UNP)will surround the Parliament and occupy it  with the help of public UNP MP Ajith.P Perera has said last friday (02).

If that happens newly appointed government should take the responsibility of such a move he has stressed.

Although President has informed the Speaker Karu Jayasuriya that the Parliament Will be convened on next Wednesday a Gazette Notification regarding it has not  yet been issued it has been reported .

Addressing a media briefing held in Temple Trees last friday (02)MP Perera has  stated that there's a conspiracy behind the  offering of  Ministerial portfolios to the MP"s jumping to the newly appointed government from other parties and Joint Opposition MP's representing Podu Jana Peramuna not accepting any Portfolios .These Ministerial appointments are against the constituition he has said .
