UNP MP's To Surround The Parliament On 07 th If The President Does Not Convene It That Day -MP.Ajith .P. Perera

If the President Maithripala Sirisena
does not convene the Parliament on next Wednesday (07)as promised Parliamentarians belonging to Governing United National Party (UNP)will surround the Parliament and occupy it  with the help of public UNP MP Ajith.P Perera has said last friday (02).

If that happens newly appointed government should take the responsibility of such a move he has stressed.

Although President has informed the Speaker Karu Jayasuriya that the Parliament Will be convened on next Wednesday a Gazette Notification regarding it has not  yet been issued it has been reported .

Addressing a media briefing held in Temple Trees last friday (02)MP Perera has  stated that there's a conspiracy behind the  offering of  Ministerial portfolios to the MP"s jumping to the newly appointed government from other parties and Joint Opposition MP's representing Podu Jana Peramuna not accepting any Portfolios .These Ministerial appointments are against the constituition he has said .

A 56 Year Old Person Had Been Hospitalized And Several Houses Damaged In Mathugama Due To Lightning

A 56 year old person had been
hospitalized and Several houses at  Vaughan Estate in Mathugama ,Kalutara had been damaged as a result of lightning last friday (02) it has been reported.

Furniture and Electric Appliances of these houses too got damaged as a result according to reports. Lightning struck  in the area due to heavy showers.

UPFA To Appoint MP Dinesh Gunawardana As Leader Of The House-UNP.Opposed It

United People's Freedom Alliance 
(UPFA)has decided to appoint MP Dinesh Gunawardana as the New Leader of the House according to the UPFA.

Co-Media Spokesman of newly apointed government, Keheliya Rambukwella has revealed this during a press briefing held at Prime Minister's office yesterday (03).

However governing United National Party has said appointing a person from.a group which not have the support of majority in Parliament is against Parliament traditions .
