Regulating Prices Of Services And Surgeries In Private Hospitals Will Take Place Although A Court Case There Against It -Health Minister
Regulating Services and Surgeries in Private Hospitals will take place as scheduled although a group of Private Hospitals had been filed a court case against it Minister of Health Dr.Rajitha Senaratne has said.
"The Irregularities in Private Hospitals should be stopped as the Health is a service not only a Business"Minister has said whilest addressing the Sales Representatives summit of State Pharmaceutical Corporation (SPC)held in Colombo last friday (19).
"Now a Competition is there between Government Hospitals and Private Hospitals as Government Hospitals have more modernised medical equipment. it has become a problem to Private Hospitals "Minister has stressed.
Drug Companies are spreading false rumours saying Quality drugs will be removed from the local market as a result of regulating drug prices and it's a blatant lie Minister has said. Regulating prices of Medicine will countinues even Drug Companies are opposing it he has revealed.
