Hatton -Bagawanthalawa Road To Remain Closed Due To A Landslide Threat
Authorities have decided to close down
further the Hatton -Bagawanthalawa road which temporarily closed down for traffic since last afternoon (13)due to a sunken area of the road and a Landslide threat .
The Transport activities of the road had been completely stopped temporarily due to a sunken area of the road from NewWeligama ,Norwood road.
As a result Police have advised the Motorists to use an alternative routes to travel until further notice.

A Person Was Arrested With A Hand Grenade
A 37 year old person had been arrested
with a Local made hand grenade at Aladuwawatte area in Mathugama, Kalutara by the Mathugama Police yesterday (13)during a raid carried out in the area.
The suspect who is a resident of Yatadola area is due to be produced before the Mathugama Magistrate Court today (14).
