A Russian National Arrested While Making Tattoos In Sri Lanka Illegally Had Been Remanded

Kakunawela has ordered to Remand a Russian national arrested over making Tattoos at Kanampitiya ,Galle for living illegally after arriving in Sri Lanka from Tourist visas ,until 23 rd of October .

Police have arrested the Russian National whilest making a Body tattoo of a youth in Galle for Rs.15,000 it has been revealed.Police have also  taken in to custody Tattoo making equipments in possession of the suspect during a raid carried out to arrest him.

A Chinese National.Was Arrested With A Stock Of Cigarettes Illegally Brought To Sri Lanka

Airport Customs officers have today

(13)arrested a 35 year old Chinese National whilest attempting to smuggle around 12,000  cigarette sticks illegally to the country at Katunayake ,Bandaranaike International Airport .

The estimated value of the Cigarette sticks brought by the Chinese National hidden inside of his three luggages is around Rs.600,000.

A Youth Was Kiled And A School Girl had Been Injured Due To A Lorry -Tipper Collision

A 21 year old youth was killed and a 15

year old school girl had been injured and hospitalized after the small Lorry they were travelling in colliding with a Tipper Truck at Duwamodara area in Kosgoda this noon (13) .

The injured had been admitted to the Balapitiya Hospital and the youth had succumbed to his injuries after transferring to Karapitiya Teaching Hospital.

The deceased youth was a resident of Elpitiya area and the injured school girl Is a resident of Balapitiya area.

Police are conducting an investigations over the incident.
